We invite you to the upcoming conference, “Geometry of classical and quantum space-times: Jerzy Lewandowski Memorial Conference,” dedicated to the memory of Professor Jerzy Lewandowski, who passed away in October 2024. The conference will take place from September 15-19, 2025, at the Banach Center in Warsaw.
Professor Lewandowski was a world-renowned scientist, primarily esteemed for his groundbreaking research on black holes and loop quantum gravity. Throughout his career, he mentored over a dozen PhD students and authored more than a hundred scientific publications. He was also the initiator and first president of the Polish Society of Relativity.
This conference will be an opportunity to honor his memory and continue scientific discussions in the areas that were central to his research passion.
